Services for professional groups

Safe at work:
prevention and protective measures for everyday life

Not knowing how to act in potentially aggressive or even violent situations can unsettle employees just as much as a lack of knowledge about professional and responsible conduct. We advise you and show your employees how to respond calmly in emergency situations. Through our risk analysis and the corresponding preventive measures and security concepts, and by means of our memorable training methods, we can offer a security package tailored to you. The result of our training sessions – together, we bring more safety to your workplace!

  • De-escalation and team training for the professional environment

Organizations and private companies

Working in social care professions usually places a heavy burden on employees, because the likelihood of tense situations arising is significantly higher when working with patients/clients. Acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge makes it possible to actively influence the course of events. This is where our support for conflict resolution and conflict management, combined with self-protection, comes in. Our training supports participants in developing solution strategies by strengthening their capacity to act in coping with aggression and violence directed against themselves or others.

Private security companies

For private security companies, we have developed a special training program (SAMI-X SEC). Characteristic of this professional group are the mandate, lawfulness and proportionality, and a focus on needs.

The concepts and techniques developed for operational use are quick to learn, realistically tested and effective.

Our course content: prevention, de-escalation, tactics, action concepts, emergency plans, teamwork, mandate and legal position, protection of other persons, approach techniques, restraint techniques, transport techniques, irritant spray, baton, first aid and much more.

Specialized courses

Medical staff

As recent events show, violence against people in medical and social professions is increasing alarmingly. Nowadays this is no longer a rarity, and it makes security concepts and self-protection for doctors necessary.

How can you protect yourself against violence as a doctor?

Those affected should be able to intervene in a professionally appropriate and safe, but also strictly proportionate manner, in order to protect third parties and themselves effectively.

What makes the difference?

For doctors, medical practice teams and medical staff, we do not just offer pure self-defense courses; as experts in the field of protection and security, we put together a genuine security package with concrete assistance for practical use.

Psychiatric facilities

These courses are tailored specifically to dealing with patients in psychiatric hospitals, forensic facilities, specialist clinics or outpatient psychiatric care services.

In the event of assaults or violence in these facilities, it is often necessary to take the appropriate measures quickly and professionally, to make decisions and to act. Escort techniques, seclusion, mechanical restraint or forced medication are often the necessary response. With suitable preventive measures, however, escalation can often be avoided in advance.

Self-defense - preparing for an emergency

Every employee is also a private individual with personal limits and levels of resilience. If unpleasant encounters or even assaults occur in work situations, or on the way to or from work, your employees should be able to resist appropriately and defend themselves.

Those affected should learn ways in which they can act with foresight and self-confidence. In addition to many preventive and de-escalation measures, simple self-defense techniques are also used as part of a simple emergency plan.

Organize courses and training with us

For more than 15 years, we have been working with various institutions and companies. Our range of training extends from programs individually tailored to specific needs to on-site courses or online training programs.

Frequently asked questions

Can entire teams from professional groups be trained?

Yes! SAMI-X Pro is an adaptable system that can be individually tailored to the needs of specific professional groups or teams. On request, we will work with you to determine which training, to what extent and on which topics, best suits your needs.

Yes, of course. For non-authority teams and clients, we have developed training sessions and training programs that take non-authority requirements and tasks into account. We tailor training content, training methods, strategies and concepts precisely to the respective target group.

Self-defense is an important part of our courses for social care professionals because it teaches the ability to protect oneself in potentially dangerous situations. This increases personal safety and effectiveness when working with vulnerable or challenging clients. Through training in self-defense techniques, social care professionals can respond better to unexpected threats and carry out their tasks safely and professionally.

Our self-defense training for social care professionals covers the following key content:

  • De-escalation: Techniques for avoiding and defusing conflicts.
  • Assistance: Methods for supporting colleagues and clients in emergencies.
  • Teamwork: Promoting cooperation and coordination within the team.
  • Proportionality: Use of appropriate measures in threatening situations.
  • Emergency planning: Preparation for and response in emergency scenarios in order to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

Our courses can take place either on site at your facility or on our premises. The advantage of on-site courses is that we can inspect your specific premises and incorporate them into the training. This allows us to tailor the self-defense techniques and emergency plans directly to your working environment, which increases the practical application and effectiveness of the training.

The minimum number of participants for our training sessions varies by course. As a rule, we state the minimum number of participants on the course page. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to postpone or cancel the training session. In this case, registered participants will be notified and offered alternative options.

After successfully taking part in a training session, participants receive a certificate of attendance or a certificate confirming the completed training. This document is usually handed out at the end of the course or can also be sent by mail on request.
